9th June: Horse Fair to celebrate Chinghis Khan's 2 zagal (white horses). Held in various Aimags
10th June: Yohor Buriad dance festival, Dadal Soum, Khentii Aimag
21st-23rd June: National Costumes Day

9th July: Parade of eight centuries of Mongolian history
10th July: Opening of the festival of a thousand horsemen
11th,12th,13th July: National Naadam Festival
15th July: Performance of 800 morin khuur (horse head fiddle) players and 800 long song singers, Ulaanbaatar

1st-2nd August: Yak Festival, Tariat Soum, Arkhangai Aimag.
2nd August: Start of horse relay of water and soil from Dadal Soum (Chinghis Khan's birthplace) to Karakorum.
4th August: Horse relay to arrive in Karakorum.
5th August: Opening of the Chinghis Khaan's monument and Naadam festival, Karakorum
~~26th August: Reindeer herder (Duka) festival, Hovsgul Lake~~

~~7th-8th October: Eagle Festival, Bayan Olgii aimag.~~
31st December: Closing ceremony of the national celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Mongolian State
